How do I host my website?

Is this a VPS?
No, FPS.ms does not offer VPS hosting. Your website runs on a managed web server. This means you never have to update its operating system, install security patches or keep the machine running yourself.
Which websites can I host?
Static HTML sites and PHP sites, with a database when your site needs one. For a Node.js or Python app, Container hosting is the better fit.
Is SSL included?
Yes, on every plan, the free one too. Let's Encrypt certificates are free and renew on their own, and you can also upload a certificate you already have.
Can I use a domain I already have?
Yes! Connect it, register a new one with FPS.ms, or start on a free hostedbyfps.com address.
Can I host more than one website?
Yes, every domain on your plan is its own website. Free, Starter and Lite host one, Basic three, Plus five and Pro ten.
Does the free plan include email?
No, email comes with every paid plan. The free plan includes a database, FTP, free SSL, DNS and cron jobs.
Are backups included?
Yes, on every plan, the free one too.
What happens when my site outgrows its plan?
Upgrade from the panel and keep your files, databases, email and DNS. Moving between paid plans only charges the difference for the time you have left.
How does the free plan work?
A free plan has to be renewed every week to stay online. If you miss it, you have 28 days to renew before its data is removed. More details on the Free Web Hosting page.
