Questions about Domain Registration
We've put our frequently asked questions right here, so you have your answers before you even start.
Still have questions or just want to chat?
How do I register a domain?
Search for the name you want, pick an extension, fill in your contact details and register it. DNS is included, so you can point it at your website, app or game server.
Which extensions can I register?
.com, .net, .org, .info, .io, .nl, .be, .de, .fr, .es, .eu, .uk, .co.uk and .ing.
Is the renewal price the same as the registration price?
For most extensions it is. .org and .io cost more to renew, and .fr costs a little less.
Can I transfer my domain to FPS.ms?
Yes, every extension can be transferred. Transfers of .nl, .es and .uk domains are free and keep their expiry date. Other transfers cost one renewal and add a year to your domain.
Is WHOIS privacy included?
On .ing domains, yes. The other extensions don't support it.
What happens when my domain is about to expire?
You get reminder emails before it expires. Keep auto-renew on and it renews from your balance ahead of time, with an email before every renewal.
