### How do I host a Bun app 24/7?

Deploy a Container, pick Bun, upload your code, add your Environment Variables and start your server: easy as that! Your app keeps running, even if your computer is offline.

### Is this a VPS?

No, FPS.ms does not offer VPS hosting. Your Bun application runs in a container managed by FPS.ms. This means you never have to update its operating system, install security patches or keep the machine running yourself.

### Can I run TypeScript?

Yes! Bun runs .ts files directly, so there is no build step. Set your Main File to your entry file, like index.ts, and start your server.

### How do my packages get installed?

Automatically! Your server runs bun install when it starts, so everything in your package.json is ready.

### Can I host a Hono, Elysia or websocket server?

Yes! Your app gets its own Public URL with HTTPS, websockets included. Paid plans can pick the name or connect a domain. For a PHP website, [web hosting](https://fps.ms/web-hosting) is the better fit.

### Can I run my Node.js app on Bun?

Most of the time, yes. Bun runs most npm packages and Node.js APIs. If something does not work, [Node.js hosting](https://fps.ms/nodejs-hosting) runs your app on Node.js itself.

### Can I deploy my app from GitHub?

Yes, you can deploy your code directly from GitHub, and even automatically (re)deploy your container when you push to your branch. If something breaks in your code, you can always roll back. GitHub deploys are a Pro feature.

### Do paid plans include a database?

Yes, every paid plan from 256 MB includes a MariaDB database.

### How does the free plan work?
